FutureLab becomes the innovation center at Cybersec Europe

The FutureLab at Cybersec Europe, which takes place on 11 and 12 May in Brussels Expo, will provide two days of pitches and experiences around innovation and technology. Geena Lisa will be the moderator.

Everything is discussed in the FutureLab at Cybersec Europe, the successor to InfoSecurity. From digital transformation and security awareness to machine learning and cybersecurity innovation. Companies that will share their experiences over two days in the FutureLab are Humain.ai, Dotdash.ai, Citymesh, Sweepatic, Cumul.io, GIM, Sinch/Chatlayer and Jimber.

Some experts will also bring a short 15-minute presentation (or pitch) there, on Wednesday, May 11. In order of appearance: Mathias Fransen (Roborana) for digital transformation & automation, Vincent Naessens (KU Leuven) for the security awareness theme and Arne Vandendorpe (from ML6) for the machine learning & data intelligence & ai theme. After the break, we welcome Danielle Jacobs from Beltug for the theme European cyber security perspectives and Jo van Bulck (imec-DistriNet lab at KU Leuven) for cybersecurity innovation, among others.

On May 12, the Computable Awards are scheduled to take place on the stage of the FutureLab. They will introduce themselves throughout the Thursday. At 4 p.m. the Awards will be presented by Prince Laurent. “Computable have put together a very nice program for these two days in the FutureLab. A lot of domains in innovation and technology will be covered”, says William Visterin, editor-in-chief of Computable Belgium, who will also be present during the two days.
